Atlanta-based developer buys land for waterfront project in Mount Holly

Penler acquired an approximately 31.5-acre site on the Catawba River in Mount Holly for $6.3 million earlier this month, according to Gaston County real estate records. Plans for the project show there will be a 314-unit apartment complex and possibly a waterfront restaurant built at the site.
