Amélie’s French Bakery & Café is giving uptown a second shot.

The popular restaurant plans to renovate and reopen in its former spot at Two Wells Fargo, at the corner of East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and South College Street.

That location should open around Labor Day, says CEO Frank Reed.
