San Francisco’s Starship Technologies rolls out robot delivery service at UNC Charlotte

Food delivery just got easier for students at UNC Charlotte.

San Francisco-based Starship Technologies, a provider of autonomous delivery services, has deployed a fleet of 30 robots at the university’s campus in northwest Charlotte, the company announced last week. The robots are accessible to serve up Wendy’s, Bojangles and Shake Smart, along with 10 more eateries set to come on board at the end of March.
