Wells Fargo invests in Charlotte nonprofit on a mission to help minority college students land jobs

A Charlotte nonprofit that connects minority college students with paid internships to build work experience and social capital has received a $75,000 investment from Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE: WFC).

GardHouse connects students of color with small businesses and nonprofits that are in need of support and want to employ a college student to gain experience in their business. The internships last 16 weeks and run concurrent with the student’s academic semester.
